Libraries are Fun Festival
The Palm Desert Public Library held Libraries are Fun Festival April 14, featuring children’s storyteller Ken Frawley. Activities included games, prizes, refreshments and crafts.

Sun City Singers
The Sun City Singers, a group of more than eighty Sun City Palm Desert Residents directed by Jane Lindsey, held its Spring Concert Thursday, April 15.
Soloists Morrie Applebaum and Ramona Larson sing "Born Free." Musical Director Jane Lindsey thanks the singers for a wonderful performance. The Noteables Quartet singsÕ "Wait 'Til the Sun Shines, Nellie." The Sun City Singers sing "I've Been Workin' on the Railroad."

Stitches for Kids, a group of quilters who make quilts for needy children of the Coachella Valley, meet weekly at the Indio Senior Center.
