Della Lindley Elementary School in Thousand Palms held a Spring Fiesta Friday, May 21 with activities and a folkloric dance program for students and families.










John Glenn Middle School Awards
John Glenn Middle School of International Studies in Indio held its end of the year awards at La Quinta High School Tuesday, May 25. The students were driven by limousine to La Quinta High School were they received their awards.











Memorial Day Ceremony
The City of Indian Wells held its Memorial Day ceremony Monday, May 31, honoring veterans who are residents in Indian Wells.











Career Day
James Monroe Elementary School in Bermuda Dunes held its annual career day Wednesday, May 26 where business professional throughout the valley spoke to third, fourth, and fifth graders about their careers.










My Gym
My Gym in Palm Desert offers noncompetitive gymnastics classes for children ages three months to 13 years. The gymnastics classes incorporate music, dance, relays and games with terrific teachers who work great with children.










PGA West Pool Pals
PGA West Pool Pals, a group of PGA West residents who meet to do water aerobics and socialize with neighbors in their community.













Check Presentation
Waste Management, in partnership with The Desert Sun's Newspapers in Education, presented a check of $250 to Gerald Ford Elementary School third-grade Teacher Kathleen Maddox that will go to the elementary school.








Wizard of Oz
On Stage, a local theater company with over 70 valley residents of all ages, held dress rehersal for its production of "The Wizard Oz" which was performed June 10-12 at Indio High School.










YMCA Basketball
YMCA of The Desert in Palm Springs held its basketball camp May 3rd to June 4th for boys and girls of all skill levels ages five to fifteen.
